Scrapbook club anyone???

I  have had a couple of people talk to me about maybe creating a scrapbook club.  I have one right now that meets already, but it it full.  I am looking to start up a new club.  I would need anywhere between 6-12 people and the amount of people will determine how often we meet and what the cost will be.  The more people, the less the cost will be.  And we could meet one a month or every other month - however the club wants to do it.  Please let me know if you are interested.  I think a good time to start would be fresh in January after the holidays are over.

Annual Christmas Card Workshop Pics - This is what you'll be making

Annual Christmas Card Workshop!!!

Hi Girls!  I’ve finally set up the date for my Annual Christmas Card Workshop. 

Get a jump on making your Christmas cards a little early!  Enjoy an afternoon of fun with friends by stamping cards for the upcoming Holiday Season. You will be stamping 2 sets of 10 different cards.

I will also post samples of the cards on my Facebook page: Julie Stamps & Scraps.  You can also respond on the events tab.  Keep a set and give one as a gift or use them all for Holiday greetings!  Tell your friends!  It will be lots of fun! 

Only one date this year, but two time slots:

Saturday, November 10^th from 9am-1:00pm or 1:00pm to 5:00pm

The Cost is $30

Things to Bring:  You will need to bring your own adhesive (glue pen, double sided tape, glue sticks, glue dots), pop dots/dimensionals

You will also get a free gift with this workshop – The Festival of Prints Designer paper stack out of the Holiday Catalog.

Christmas Workshop

Hi everyone!  I have a problem!  I need to schedule my BIG Christmas card workshop and this year it looks like it can only be one day instead of 2.  I just cannot find the time in November.  All of our weekends are almost totally booked!  So I am looking at Saturday, November 10th or Friday Night November 16th.  I guess I could do both if I have enough interest.  Please give me some feedback and let me know so I can make a decision.  We usually make 20 cards, I have food, gifts, and Christmas music.  But most of all, lots of fun with stampin' friends!!!

Halloween Layout

I had to share this Halloween scrapbook layout that I did for my stamp club that meets in a couple of weeks.  I just have all different sizes of pictures and scrap Halloween paper.  Easy Peasy!  This is from a trip that we took to Grant's Farm last season.  We need to go back soon!

Materials Used:

  Tasteful trim die for the Big Shot 

 owl and bird punches

circle punches for the eyes, 

 Seasonal Sayings stamp set

Apothecary Accents framelits

Whisper White, pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight and Misc. Papers

Only 73 Days until Christmas!!!

I know that it seems early, heck, it's not even Halloween yet!  But now is the time to start working on your Christmas cards!  This is a very easy and pretty card that my stamp club is doing tonight (if you are interested in being in a stamp club check out the tab above). 

It uses the new Scentsational Season and the Mixed Medley stamp sets both in the holiday catalog.  It also uses the coordinating framelits that go with the scentsational season set.  The colors are sahara sand, always artichoke, ruby red (retired), more mustard, and whisper white.  It also uses the 2 1/2 amd 3/4 circle punches as well as the 2 3/8 scallop circle.  The polka dot embossing folder for the Big Shot is used as well.

Reflection

One of my customers recently asked me to make an example of a reflection card.  So this is my example for her.  Just take your stamp and stamp it where you want it, then ink the same image on a block to stamp the reflection.  And Voila, instant reflection!  

This card uses soft suede, early espresso, and whisper white papers.  The ink colors are early espresso, more mustard, and not quite navy.  I just sponged the colors on.  The stamp sets are Lovely as a Tree and Teeny Tiny Wishes.  You could change the greeting to anything you wanted.

Isn't this bag just adorable?   It is made with a variety of Stampin' Up circle punches ( 2 1/2, 1 3/4, and 1 inch), apothecary accents framelit, and the sizzix circle die for the Big Shot.  Put it all on a brown paper lunch sack and your done!  You can even change out the colors!

Super Simple!!! 

These would be perfect for school class parties, for Halloween gifts or on a table for Thanksgiving to give to your guests!

Thankful!

I haven't posted in a while. It's been a rough week. My oldest son has run a fever all week and still is. This is a card I made a few weeks ago with the owl punch and some scraps I had laying around. I happen to have a picture of it on my cel phone. I am truly thankful for my family, friends, and all of you!

Be-Witching

Gotta LOVE this card!!! the witch shoes are made with the Top Note die for the big shot!  So easy!  Cut a circle from some DSP and the Seasonal Sayings stamp set.  Just use scrap paper for the legs!  Also uses the new Essentials Paper Piercing Pack. I think I put this card together in about 15 minutes!  Perfect for the "Witch" in your life (LOL)!!!
